Our Mission Statement
We believe that the Bible is the God-inspired revelation of God’s Word.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 17 that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 13:14 the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but that by voluntary disobedience he fell from his original state of grace. Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
We believe that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, purchasing Eternal life for all who believe on Him.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8 But God commandeth His love toward us, in that, while we were sinners, Christ died for us.
We believe that we have no righteousness and must come to God solely on the basis of faith in the blood of Christ. Ephesians 1:7 In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God.
We believe that upon sincere repentance, and a whole-hearted acceptance in Christ, we are justified and forgiven all sin by God. John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive is our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We believe that human spirit is regenerated by God’s Spirit at conversion.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a creature: old things are passed away; Behold, all things are become new.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me.
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and the renewing of the Holy Ghost.
We believe that is it the will of God that we live a holy life, growing in grace daily.
2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
We believe that baptism by immersion is an outward sign if an inward work of grace.
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
We believe in the celebration of the Lord’s Supper by the use of the bread and juice of the vine,
1 Corinthians 11:24-26 And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me. 25 After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink, in remembrance of Me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death til He come.
We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit endues the believer with power; and that His empowerment is after the same manner as recorded in the New Testament.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
